I see at least one person a day talking shit about someone else.
People look at the world and wonder why we’re all so horrible, how we can be so desensitized in such horrific situations, how someone can so easily take another’s life.
Well look harder, you go through life constantly getting ridiculed, constantly putting others down, you watch stories on the news of thousands of people dying only to see each of those people as number knowing nothing about them rather than thinking of each one as another individual.
We look for relationships with one another because they make us happy, then we leave them because they don’t anymore, not thinking of how they feel.
We get lied to, we lie. Everyone sucks, live with it.
You don’t have to feed to this vicious cycle by expressing your hatred towards another, I’m sure they’ve all been through shit, you probably have too.
It’s pretty easy to forgive… so why can’t everyone?

Perhaps Brievik’s inexcusable act of vicious terror should serve not only as a warning that there may be more elements on the extreme Right willing to use violence to further their goals, but also as an opportunity to seriously reevaluate policies for immigrant integration in Norway and elsewhere.
