Dreaming of another world. Brilliant.

What kind of impact has 1 left on your life?

I can’t even begin to explain. It wouldnt do them justice. There’s this quote knocking around “They continue to make music that sounds like it cares how you are” This quote is perfect. They were the first band whose songs I felt were written for me. They just soundtrack my life. Guy’s lyrics are witty, emotive, heartbreaking, uplifting. They’re the reason I kept my ipod in at school basically putting a bubble around me and my friends. I don’t even care. So, the impact on my life is to reassure me it’s not all bad and other people go through what I go through. I’ve worded this horrifically. I’m not worthy.

How many times have you seen 4 live?

Just the once at Reading. I plan to do more.

Ooh erm, I’m going to say Neighbourhood #1 (Tunnels)

Is there a song by 3 that makes you sad?

They don’t really do massively sad songs, Underwear is quite sort of scary about sex. But I dont get sad over it.

What is your favourite song by 2?

Ridiculous question. Gun to my head? Stockholm Syndrome

When did you first get into 5?

Erm I think I saw their video on tv. Then found out theyre from near Wrexham. Album was fairly cheap. Never looked back.

How did you get into 3? 

I saw they were playing Reading. Thought I’d do a bit of research as Dad had the hits. I already like common people and disco 2000 so I listened and found songs of such brilliance they became the band I was most excited about at Reading. 

What is your favourite song by 4?

I’d have to say England. That line “Famous angels never came through England” I love it.

What is a good memory concerning 2?

Hmm. I’ve seen them live twice but that’s not it. I’d have to say first time I heard the Absolution album. I listened to nothing else for the next month. 

Is there a song by 2 that makes you sad?

Do Muse do sad songs? Hmm. they actually don’t.

What is your favourite song of 3?

Do You Remember The First Time? they opened with it at Reading and I get goosebumps every time it comes on.

What song isn’t your favourite of 7?

Tricky, I’ll go for The Girl Is Gone. Bit grating.
