A couple weeks ago, we were lucky enough to take a class with the legend John Kobuki.

For anyone who is unfamiliar with his work, Google it, because it’s some of the best stuff I’ve ever seen. He’s taken compression marbles to a level no one else has, and we got to learn about the techniques he’s created.

The marbles I am going to post are all Chris’ from our week at the Pittsburgh Glass Center. These flower patterns in particular are John’s and so we’ll be creating our own color patterns and designs for our line of marbles, but we will be more than willing to take custom orders for those, even if just to include them as part of another piece.

John’s a really nice, interesting guy and we learned a lot from his class. I would definitely recommend it to any glassblowers who have the opportunity to take a lesson with him.

We had a really great time in Pittsburgh and hope you guys like the result of our hard work. We are really proud of it.
