Whats wrong with TBN preachers? I see nothing wrong with those 3 preachers. :/

Benny Hinn: But here’s first what I see for TBN. You’re going to have people raised from the dead watching this network. You’re going to have people raised from the dead watching TBN. Programs - just plain programs - programs that haven’t done much when it comes to supernatural manifestations - teaching programs. It’s not going to be a Benny Hinn saying, “Stretch your hands.” It’s going to be your average teaching program, your normal Christian program, that’s blessing the church. There’s going to be such power on these programs people will be raised from the dead worldwide. I’m telling you, I see this in the Spirit. It’s going to be so awesome - Jesus I give you praise for this - that people around the world - maybe not so much in America - people around the world who will lose loved ones, will say to undertakers “Not yet. I want to take my dead loved one and place him in front of that TV set for 24 hours.”

    Paul Crouch: Benny Hinn! Jesus!

Benny Hinn: I’m telling you. People will be - people - I’m telling you, I feel the anointing talking here. People are going to be canceling funeral services and bringing their dead in their caskets, placing them - my God! I feel the anointing here - placing them before a television set, waiting for God’s power to come through and touch them. And it’s going to happen time and time - so much it’s going to spread. You’re going to hear it from Kenya to Mexico to Europe to South America, where people will be raised from the - so much so that the word will spread that if some dead person be put in front of this TV screen, they will be raised from the dead and they will be by the thousands. You wait. Now the Lord just told me - and I don’t know whether this is true or not - as I’m saying this, the Lord said He gave you that word many, many years ago.

Paul Crouch: I have said that, yes.

Benny Hinn: I don’t remember you saying that to me ever.

    Paul Crouch: No, I didn’t.

Benny Hinn: [He said] ‘I’ve told him this already.’

Paul Crouch: Yeah, the Lord spoke that to me in the very beginning of TBN and I didn’t really -

Jan Crouch: And I had a dream.

Benny Hinn: You had a dream.

Paul Crouch: Yeah, tell him about that little -

Jan Crouch: That’s just a dream - people were being raised from the dead. Years ago.

Paul Crouch: It’s on tape. I said the day is coming -

Benny Hinn: I see quite something amazing. I see rows of caskets lining up in front of this TV set and I see them bringing them closer to the TV set and as people are coming closer I see actually loved ones picking up the hands of the dead and letting them touch the screen and people are getting raised as their hands are touching that screen.

…With this program - I’m not talking about my program - I’m talking programs, plain programs aired - the glory of God will be so on TBN that there’s going to be divine resurrection happening as people bring their loved ones to the TV set.

Paul Crouch: Just because it’s His time.

Benny Hinn: It’s His time. Now here’s something else I see. Jesus, I give You praise for this, I give You praise for this, I give You praise for this - the day will come, Paul - and I pray you’ll be here. I pray the Lord will allow you to be here and see it. I mean, physically be here. You’re in your 60s now. But the day is going to come when the gifts of the Holy Spirit will so intensify in the church that young children will be watching TBN and signs and wonders will begin to take place through them. Impartations of the Spirit will come to them. A little child that knows nothing about the gifts, knows nothing about the anointing, knows nothing about the power of God, will be imbued with power from on high as a child, as that TV set comes on, and will go out like fire torches to their schools and their playgrounds and their families. I see children, I see children, what looks like fire in their lips spreading - but I see these kids touching the TV set, receiving it, and going out and spreading it. And it’s going to happen with children in the U.S., Canada, all over the world. And I do see people being raised from the dead here, but I see masses of them overseas.

Im Obsessed With The Crouch Family: The Epitome of Elegance

I once spent a Christmas with the flu in Orange County - and after watching eight hours of TBN and the Crouches - went to the TBN Cathedral - where I was locked in, treated to a movie about Jesus and got to talk a walk through “old Jerusalem” … it was genius.

I always wanted to go their theme park, The Holy Land Experience, in Orlando - despite its dodgy tax returns. But now the gig might be up. the NY TImes is reporting a family split - and allegations of stealing (NO!) embezzling (WHAAA? NOT THE CROUCHES!) and their weird, yet separate lifestyle (Paul once paid $425K to a male lover in hush money).

read it all here - with a bowl of popcorn and some Tang. They make the Bakkers look like paupers.

Trinity Broadcasting Network ‘funds owners’ exorbitant lifestyle’ | The Raw Story

The world’s largest Christian TV channel, the California-based Trinity Broadcasting Network, has become embroiled in a multimillion dollar financial scandal after members of the family that founded it alleged widespread embezzlement.

The claims – by Brittany Koper, whose grandfather Paul Crouch founded TBN, and by Joseph McVeigh, another family member – describe exorbitant spending on mansions in California, Tennessee and Florida, private jets and even a $100,000-mobile home to house the dogs of Crouch’s flamboyant wife, Janice.

The network, which claims to broadcast in every continent except the Antarctic and has 18,000 affiliates, was set up by Crouch in the 1970s and preaches a so-called “prosperity gospel” which promises material rewards to those who give generously.

Two years ago it declared a net worth of over $800m (£504m) although in recent years it has faced increasing financial problems.

Details of the claims are contained in cases filed with the California courts by McVeigh, who says he was targeted by the network, and 26-year-old Koper, who was fired in September.

According to the lawsuit, reported in a number of US newspapers, Paul Crouch Sr obtained a $50m luxury jet for his personal use through a “sham loan”, while church funds – many of which come from donations during events like its “Praise-a-thons” – paid for the mobile home housing his wife’s dogs.

The suit filed by Joseph McVeigh makes the most damning allegations claiming: “unlawful and unreported income distributions to Trinity Broadcasting’s directors” including “multiple jet aircraft, including a $50m Global Express luxury jet aircraft purchased for the personal use of the Crouches through a sham loan … as well as an $8m Hawker jet aircraft purchased by Trinity Broadcasting for the personal use of director Janice Crouch.”

It also describes the purchase of “multiple motor vehicles, including a $100,000 motor home purchased by Trinity Broadcasting as a mobile residence for director Janice Crouch’s dogs”.

The sexual scandals listed in court papers include the alleged “cover-up and destruction of evidence concerning a bloody sexual assault involving Trinity Broadcasting and affiliated Holy Land Experience employees; the cover-up of director Janice Crouch’s affair with a staff member at the Holy Land Experience; the cover-up of director Paul Crouch’s use of Trinity Broadcasting funds to pay for a legal settlement with Enoch Lonnie Ford (a former TBN employee who said he had a homosexual affair with [founder] Paul Crouch).”

Brittany Koper, the network’s former finance director, was fired last autumn – she claims after she discovered the extent of the financial wrongdoing at the network.

Brittany Koper’s lawsuit follows one launched by the church against her – later dismissed – which alleged that Koper and her husband used forged documents to embezzle funds to buy cars, jewellery and a fishing boat.

“She blew the whistle and got terminated,” Koper’s lawyer Tymothy MacLeod, told the LA Times. “Brittany has done the right thing. It’s admirable that someone on the inside of TBN has come forward and is revealing to the world exactly what is going on behind those closed doors.”

TBN is no stranger to outside scrutiny.

In 1998, the elder Crouch secretly paid an accuser $425,000 to keep quiet about allegations of a homosexual encounter. Crouch Sr has consistently denied the allegations, which were first reported by the Los Angeles Times, and has said he settled only to avoid a costly and embarrassing trial.

In 2000, after a five-year battle, a federal appeals court overturned a ruling by the FCC that found Crouch had created a “sham” minority company to get around limits on the number of TV stations he could own.

Monster of the Day: Jan Crouch

    image

Jan Crouch—seen here, with hostages—is one of Batman’s oldest and deadliest foes. A criminal mastermind, responsible for killing Jason Todd, crippling Batgirl, and dressing like a clown. The origins of this villain remain a mystery, though many speculate that a vat of chemicals was somehow involved.

Her crimes lack any motivation beyond causing chaos, leaving citizens of Gotham City to ask “What does it want?

The answer: to watch the world burn.
