- Richard Armitage: Those post-apocalyptic dramas seem to be coming back in vogue. If I was cast in one, I'd like to be the nerdy scientist beavering away under a microscope and coming up with an answer.
- Interviewer: Would there be a scene where you take your glasses off and everyone says "But - you're beautiful"?
- RA: Do you think? That's very good. I could toss my hair and everything.
- EW: What character did you play in Cats?
- Richard Armitage: I was one of those bodies in cats that gets to play lots of characters. I was basically run-and-cover, a swing. I played the Rum Tum Tugger, Gus, Macavity, among a number of different parts.
- EW: Are you a dancer?
- RA: I’m a pretty good mover, I can get away with it. Cats was my journey to drama school. I did a year on tour and a year in the West End and saved my pennies so that I could go to drama school. But I’m not a bad singer.
