Hey Kacie! I'm sorry if you've answered this before, or if you can't/don't want to share, but I was curious as to what wig/wigs you used for your Condesce wig. :0
I actually haven’t answered this question before! Haha, so I hope you don’t mind if I publish this out for the rest of tumblr to see as well. uvu
I unfortunately don’t have the original links since I made the wig almost a year ago, but I started off with a straight black wig that was 150cm in length. I looked and there’s actually one on sale on amazon for 30 bucks right now! After the base wig, I then went out and purchased 3 cheap, curly black wigs (you can find those for about 12 bucks each on ebay from overseas sellers). Once all the wigs had arrived, I removed the individual wefts from the cheaper wigs and put them into my base wig layer by layer, since it’s cheaper to buy the whole wigs and take them apart than it is to buy the individual wefts.
It’s a lot easier to sew in the wefts than one would think, but it is extremely time consuming. So save it for a rainy day or two and pop in a couple movies. C: If you need some help figuring out the wefting, there’s a great tutorial over here that also includes photos!
