A senior fellow from the conservative Independent Women’s Forum (IWF) on Wednesday told a Senate committee that assault weapons should not be outlawed because they were the “weapon of choice” for young mothers who need a “scary-looking gun.” At Senate Judiciary Hearing on gun violence, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) asked IWF’s Gayle Trotter, who also writes for The Daily Caller, if it would “disproportionately burden women” to ban assault rifles like the Bushmaster AR-15 used to slaughter 20 children in Newtown, Connecticut.
“Women who rail against feminism, like those at IWF, work hard to present themselves as "pure," whether it's through promoting abstinence-only education and decrying hookup culture or kowtowing to conservative men's agenda for women. It's a survival technique: If they can paint other women as "impure." then they're safe from criticism. It's a lot easier to attack other women, after all, than it is to attack a sexist society.”

“The manal, a biotically active bipedal animal commonly known as the “asari chimpanzee”, has been taken off the critically endangered list after two decades of conservation efforts. “This has been an enormous task, calling together the very best of geneticists, ethologists, zoos, conservation groups, and grassroots support”, said Interplanetary Wildlife Fund president Diaza T’Rome. The primary cause of the manal’s reduced numbers had been habitat loss due to encroaching cities.”
Reading through IWF rules....
4.4.8
In order to protect the palm of the hands, wearing special fingerless gloves is
allowed e.g. gymnastic palm guards, cycling gloves. These gloves may cover
only the first phalanx of the fingers. If plasters are worn on the fingers, there
has to be a visible separation between the plasters and the glove.

Indy wrestler signed by WWE
Lordsofpain.net reported the following:
”- The Independent Wrestling Federation has announced that Flex Freeman, who has been wrestling just over a year, has been signed by WWE to a developmental deal. Freeman is 6’ 5” and 310 lbs, hailing from New Jersey.”
You can view his biography (with photos) on the IWF website: http://campiwf.com/flexfreeman.html
Thoughts: Congratulations Flex Freeman. Have any of our readers seen him wrestle before?
Interestingly, there is another “Independent Wrestling Federation” local to me. They should have a cross promotional feud over who owns the rights to the name.
