I want to wish you all the best this next year. I know nothing will change, we will not be magically revamped, nothing is going to be reset, but it’s a good excuse to start over and change for good. I am too sad to see all over my dashboard people being disappointed over this year, I get that most people have very sad reasons like sickness, losing a loved one, and things that are not under their control and I am truly sorry for it.

But an important thing is that you have to learn that you cannot stand there with your hand on your waist waiting for things to happen, you have to make them happen. I want you all to believe that you can achieve things by standing up to yourself and going for it. 

You are all capable of doing whatever you want, but if you keep backing off and making excuses for yourself, you won’t get anywhere. I’m not telling you to be like “okay I’m going to become queen of the world right now haha in your face” because well, it’s not going to happen, but if you set realistic goals and if you have the chance to do something, just do it.

Life doesn’t really stop for anybody and negativity is in all of us, but nobody’s going to believe in you if you first don’t believe in yourself. So I encourage you to be a better person, starting with yourself. I would tell you the story on how I started to achieve things, setting short term goals, but it’s long and boring (I also got psychological help, I think it is very important for people to get some sort of counseling for a while, it really helps with whatever you’re struggling with), so I’m just going to leave you with a long ass quote that kind of made me start seeing things a bit different:

I really appreciate every single one of you, some events this year (one in particular as the majority of you might now) changed my life and my view on it, but it should not have happened for me to realize that I can achieve things, I mean, I wish I would have realized earlier, in other circumstances, but finally I did, a girl that the only thing she knows about me is my name and probably forgot about it made me realize lots of things and I know most people are discouraged by not having the chance to meet their idols, but once you see a chance (and not only in a situation like this), go for it.
