Family Art Workshop this Saturday, 10:30am-Noon
drawingcenter.orgFamilies please join us this Saturday, March 9 from 10:30am-Noon for our next Family Art Workshop! Ideal for kids ages 10-13. Admission is FREE!
Families will explore Ishmael Randall Weeks current exhibition, Cuts, Burns, Punctures. Weeks incorporates slide photographs that he has manipulated and changed, whereby meaning has been shifted or obliterated. Families will discuss what the artist did and the possible meaning of the work, followed by hands-on experimentation, using similar technique and materials, with provided photographic slides.
