Out of Context. One of my pet peeves is when people try to sound as if they’ve got a USB stick of the universe’s dictionary up their ass. I mean if your message makes sense, then hey, there’s no problem. But it starts to become annoying when words get out of context and the only way I can communicate with you, is if I warped across several dimensions to find Captain Kirk’s translator device. Stop trying to sound intelligent, just do you. Chances are, you just end up looking stupid. We don’t need everyone getting their pants in a bunch deciphering your message. Be Clear, Concise, Confident. Clear up your message, be brief about it, and be sure that your message is in the right context.
