Ok, confess Bones writers, WHO of you is reading imnotnormalimextraordinary’s squeecaps, or her thoughts?!
Just finished Bones 8.13:
1) This was a really sad epidose in some respects for Sweets. You can tell he’s still hurting. I actually said “Awwww, baby duck” outloud on more than one occasion. (Thanks to imnotnormalimextraordinary and her wonderful recaps).

2) That ending. Booth’s little speech to Christine hit me so, so hard. The subtle lines hinting that he still thinks he might end up like his father, which is his worst fear. The little “Help your mom be happy. Because if she’s alone, she’s going to forget.” Obviously their lives and occupations revolve around death, but I think this is the first case, at least since Christine, that has really made them think about the consequences of their own deaths. They have a family now, people who they will leave behind. It was really lovely how we got to see how that realization impacted Booth, and Brennan as well. They love each other so much, and rewriting their wills solidified that. They’re in it for the long haul. Excuse me while I sob in a corner.

I think you’ve got a great attitude about it. I will say though, that sometimes, no matter how much effort you put into something, you still won’t be able to pass or get decent grades in something, and I think that’s cause for a lot of frustration.
That’s definitely part of it, especially when said thing is required or important, and it reflects badly on the person. It definitely seems like it’s a huge esteem buster too, when you’re told you have to be able to do something that’s honestly too difficult.

Are Sweets’ reactions never not hilarious?
Heh. His reactions are always hilarious.
ahhh it’s just such a shame we never got to see his reaction to Brennan’s pregnancy! Ha, I bet his head exploded :P
imnotnormalimextraordinarytoo replied to your post: Someone desecrated Michael Clark Duncan’s grave…
Seriously? Ugh. People are the absolute worst.
Yes they did. Racism is not ok. Ever. But to do it on a grave? God what ever happened to respect.
Sadly I am sure we will be deprived of the undressing, but we will have to let our active imaginations conjure up Naked Booth in the lab. Heh. (Feel free to prove me wrong, Show.)
well, DB did tweet out that pic in the lab in his dress shirt and socks. Which could fit with the time of filming this ep!! So… who knows… we may get a pleasant surprise (which I just added in picture to my post). Other than that, I indeed doubt it but Show can PLEASANTLY prove me wrong.

As much as I didn’t care for the dress in the pictures from the event, Emily made it look *so* much better than in its original inception. Holy crap, the difference is crazy. Also, thanks for your super sleuthing, man.

The dress looks so much better on Em. It needs boobs to make the little boob window work. #whatkindofpersonami?

Em did the dress justice, considering its bloody ugly. The model looks ridiculous.
Glad we’re all in agreement: dress be ugly but Emily be hawt.
imnotnormalimextraordinarytoo said: Very interesting. I hope this pops up on my dish sometime so I can record it, because it sounds interesting enough. I’ve heard that Kathleen Turner’s performance is nuanced enough that there are no “sides” to take, really.
Yeah, I’d say it’s a little more complex a story than, you know, taking sides. Like, even the genuinely mean thing that I think Kathleen Turner’s character does in the movie (it has to do with the woman his son is seeing) is brought about by something more complicated than morality, you find out. Her character’s own past is brought into the matter, in regards to how she acts and reacts to things, and so it’s a bit different than a Catholicism vs. The World scenario. I don’t know. I hope I’m not making it out to have more depth than it actually does. I don’t think it’s a particularly “deep” movie. It does try to wrap things up into a neat little package, and I’m sure its subject matter is more complicated than the film conveys, but like I said, it’s ultimately pretty good-hearted and therefore hard to vehemently dislike.

Isn’t that the truth! Aborted sexytiems, aborted marriage, creepy guys stalking, bad news all around. This will be our goal for S9; steal Booth’s phone! LOL
Yes. This is the goal for S9. STEAL BOOTH’S PHONE.

Most accurate post of the season.
The precedent was set in the premiere after all…Booth picking up his phone = BAD STUFF.

Her face can make the hardest hearts weak in the knees. It was the absolute worst. I would rather see the Mighty Hut blow up 10 times than see that face that sad again.

IKR? She doesn’t get it (right now anyway) and the bb’s so confused and her face just FELL APART
She wanted it so much and she just doesn’t know and it’s killing me inside soooo much. I just want to jump through my tv and tell her :(
