My friend is at The Cab concert tonight.
I couldn’t make it since I’m in the hospital. I sent her a text for him to read and hopefully respond to. Instead of texting me back, he called me. “Thank you for taking the time to write that.” “When you get feeling better, send me a tweet and let me know you’re okay.” “I love you.” just a few examples of the things he said.
I could not love this man any more. He’s done so much for me. Knowing that he cares and actually took the time to call me, make sure I was okay, thank me, and tell me he loves me, just goes to show how genuine he is. My heart stopped when he said he loved me and the tears just started falling. I’m still crying as I’m writing this.
If any of you ever have the chance to see The Cab live or talk to Alex DeLeon, please do it. Alex has helped out so many people and has done so much for me, it would be nearly a sin for you to not go. Even if you don’t like their music, listen to the lyrics or just listen to Alex as he talks in between songs. He’s one of the biggest inspirations in my life and has been since Whisper War. He won’t give up on you. I promise.
