basically what i am trying to get across is
- HANNIBAL LECTER IS AN INTERESTING CHARACTER
- THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THINKING HE IS AN INTERESTING CHARACTER, FINDING HIM SEXY, LIKING TO SEE HIS CHARACTER ON SCREEN (anthony hopkins is a babe), ETC ETC
- HE’S GOT SOME GOOD TRAITS THAT YOU COULD TRY TO ASPIRE TOO (plays piano, draws, very smart, speaks like 5 languages)
but
- HANNIBAL LECTER HAS VERY MANY BAD QUALITIES (he’s crazy, he eats people, and he’s murdered a bunch of people)
- YOU SHOULD NOT TRY AND ASPIRE TO THOSE QUALITIES
- YOU SHOULD NOT FORGIVE HANNIBAL LECTER FOR WHAT HE’S DONE
- YOU SHOULD NOT TRY AND JUSTIFY HIS ACTIONS
- PLEASE DON’T TRY AND JUSTIFY HIS ACTIONS THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION TO HIS ACTION (he thinks he’s doing a ‘public service’ it’s not a public service to kill people)
so basically
- hannibal lecter is a cool character!! and that’s cool!! you’re allowed to like him
- but don’t justify what he does and try to ‘become a psychopath’
I just HATE, when users tag their hate
and then complain about not being able to have ‘opinions’
you can have them, but the minute you put them on a tag that is dedicated to people who want to see nice things about him, you are showing your opinion to people who like him, and hence obviously going to get hate for it.
