How To Insert A Gif On A Reblog In the Update of Shit
So, there’s not an option to insert pictures on reblogs anymore.
Seeing as half of tumblr is based around throwing beautiful reaction gifs on reblogs, this is bullshit.
Fear not: you just have to go old-school.
Step 1: click the “<html>” tag on the top right
Step 2: type *img src=”URLOFGIFHERE”* where * are < and > respectively
Step 3: You have a gif in your post. Congratulations. May it be used to make people hate you or love you in the days to come.
ETA (January 26th): Well, would you look at that. They actually changed it so images are allowed on reblogs. I’m not sure if this is across all the updates yet, but still…keep the post in mind in case things go to shit again, yeah? :]
