(First of the many I will be posting for the next few weeks!)
My family and I rarely travel because my parents (and now, also my siblings) are always preoccupied with work during weekdays and when we do spend time together, we’re accustomed to staying at home, or near it.That’s why when my parents suggested to go on an almost-week long vacation for their silver anniversary and mother’s birthday, I was so thrilled! The thought of going somewhere unfamiliar and taking so many photographs just made me ecstatic!
So, anyway, welcome to my travel diaries! →
This whole trip is such an eye-opener for me. I’ve been too busy envying other countries and their beautiful sceneries, not really realizing how beautiful my own country is!

Packed na Packed! (Trying hard humor, in case you didn’t notice *sigh*)
Brought many printed dresses (you will not be seeing me in any photos, hehe)/extra book: Everything Is Illuminated —I mean, how many more books can you bring, Elisa?/ sunglasses I should start wearing c/o Ray Bans and Calvin Klein (long old blogging story/Neon pink envelope clutch from It’s All About Hue (Speaking of which, shooting their next collection on Wednesday!)

Car rides at five in the morning. Our car actually broke down on the day of my parents’ anniversary and we were stuck in Bulacan for 12 hours. I just thought, He probably saved us from an accident or something else. He has His reasons for those little annoying things. And, even under the most unfortunate circumstances, as long as my family and I are together, we’re okay.
Finally, the real vacation. Thirteen hour ride—It’s a very long and exhausting story.

This is the golden view I woke up to! The majestic waters and the Bangui Wind Mills which look like tiny toys

Perfectly pristine

Our humble inn which looks like the hotel we’ll be staying at in the next posts

Juliet, Naked: the book I’ve been reading for the past few weeks my Ellie lent me

Tita after answering a phone call

A sweet kid smiling happily for my camera
We only spent a few hours here because we wanted to also be able to see all the other tourist spots in Ilocos Norte.
Patapat Bridge→

We passed by this very photogenic (for lack of a better word word) bridge overlooking the sea, surrounded by countless of birds flocked together.

Bangui Wind Mills →

In very turista fashion, we went to the world-renowned (self-gratifying description) and very gigantic Wind Mills. I had to change my 50 mm lens or else I only would have captured the sand. (My humor!!!)

This house caught my attention more than the wind mills, actually. It was so movie poster-material. You probably just need a couple holding one another’s faces and there you have it, a new Nicholas Sparks movie (poster).
I will cut this short because it’s getting long and there’s so much more to post!
Next Post → Paoay :)
ILOCOS ESCAPADE
First time ko bumyahe ng 10hours magisa. Layoooo!

Tagal ng sisig and siszling sugpo kasi ehh! Thanks tita Marie sa treat order all you want!

(Tita Marie and Sheena)

(mom and Keizia) Walang picture si alviiiin! :(
The next day pumunta kami ng Batac, kung saan nandun si President Ferdinand Marcos.

Dito pala ako grumaduate ng Elementary, sa Eladio V. Barangan Memorial Elem. School. So syempre after 8 years bago ako nakapunta ulit dito nakipagkita ako sa mga kabatch ko na kaclose ko at ayun nagkitakita nga kami. Ang lalaki na nila! O maliit lang talaga ako?! HAHAHA. Hindi ako nakapagdala ng Camera :( Boba.
Meet my grandma and grandpa. (motherside)

With Alvin-

I’ll be back after graduation dito ako magbabakasyon muna. Hehe. ANG ITIM KO NA!
