Looks like crime does pay

news.yahoo.com

I like how the government is willing to pay for illegal immigrants to college while people in the middle class are on their own. My family makes just enough money a year to be disqualified for financial aid but doesn’t earn nearly enough to be able to pay for my school alone. Because of the loans that I have to take out I will be about $140,000 in debt before I enter the work force. I’m honestly terrified right now that I wont be able to find a job that will let me pay off my school debt let alone start a life for myself but at least the people who entered this country illegally are all set and don’t have to worry about their future. The government is willing to spend the tax money that will be added to my family’s financial burden to help them. I know that this is just in California and a few other states in the south right now but it still pisses me off to see that people who entered this country illegal are being treated better than people who have lived here their whole life or who actually took the time to become a citizen. I also feel like this is the beginning of a national trend. I have nothing against the government giving these people an opportunity to have a better life, especially because that is the reason they risked their lives to enter this country, but I don’t think illegal immigrants should get priority over citizens especially during these troubled financial times.

How illegal immigration is unfair

There are two families: ” Joe Legal ” and ” Jose Illegal “. Both families have two parents, two children, and live in California

Joe Legal works in construction has a Social Security Number and makes $25.00 per hour and has taxes deducted.

Jose Illegal also works in construction, has NO Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash “under the table”.

Ready? Now pay attention….

Joe Legal

: $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or $52,000.00 per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax; Joe Legal now has $31,231.00.

Jose Illegal : $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or $31,200.0 0 per year.Jose Illegal pays no taxes. Jose Illegal now has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $24,031.00.

Jose Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and local clinics and emergency hospitals at a cost of $0.00 per year… Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or welfare.
Joe Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $18,031.00.

Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps, WIC and welfare. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per year. Joe Legal now has 9,631 .00.

Jose Illegal receives a $500.00 per month Federal Rent Subsidy. Jose Illegal pays out that $500.00 per month, or $6,000.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has
$ 31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays $200.00 per month, or $2,400.00 for car insurance. Some of that is uninsured motorist insurance. Joe Legal now has $7,231.00.

Jose Illegal says, “We don’t need insurance!”
And still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal has to make his $7,231.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, etc.

Jose Illegal has to make his $31,200.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, and what he sends out of the country every month.

Joe Legal now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part time job after work.

Jose Illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family.

Joe Legal ‘s and Jose Illegal’s children both attend the same elementary school.
Joe Legal pays for his children’s lunches, whileJose Illegal’s children get a government sponsored lunch.
Jose Illegal’s children have an after school ESL program. Joe Legal’s children go home.

Now, when they reach college age, Joe Legal’s kids may not get into a State School and may not qualify for scholarships, grants or other tuition help, even though Joe has been paying for State Schools through his taxes,

While Jose Illegal’s kids “go to the head of the class” because they are a minority.

Joe Legal and Jose Illegal both enjoy the same police and fire services, but Joe paid for them and Jose did not pay.
Do you get it, now?

If you vote for, or support, any politician that supports illegal aliens YOU are part of the problem!

We need to keep this going—we need to make changes ASAP!

It’s way PAST time to take a stand for America and Americans!

My opinion on Immigration, very long lol

Ok well i am a descendent of immigration, both my parents are residents now here in California. I have some family members that are “illegal”. But everyone i know is a good person and isn’t doing any harm to society if not benefiting. But i do understand that illegal immigration is  a bad thing. It’s a thing that needs to be controlled and moderated. I believe you can’t treat people any less of a person just because people immigrate illegally. They have human rights as much as all of us and we are no better. I also don’t agree with the Arizona laws because we are repeating history on how the Nazis would treat the Jewish, yet we fought against that. I understand if people want bigger walls and better security but it would be better if there wasn’t so much hate and racism that goes a long with it. So i understand that crossing the border without permission is illegal and the people crossing understand as well. See in mexico it isn’t as great as America, there is no money, no work, no food, no hope, and people are suffering. The only thing those people have is stories of people who came to the US and changed their lives for the better, all they have is a dream. So you know people when they are at their lowest they have to do anything to survive and they want to give their family what they need. They are willing to die for them just for a chance to work and make enough money to get by. So the people crossing know it’s a risk and it’s a chance they have to take no matter what. I also understand that their is a lot of drug smuggling through the border which is why i understand for better security. But the majority of the people aren’t smuggling drugs and carrying guns. But another thing about Mexicans is that they aren’t what you see in the media. It’s a beautiful race with good people. Not all mexicans want to come to the US, you just only hear about them the most. There’s people living happy and comfortable in Mexico too. Another thing that mexicans are known for is the violence and gangs but the funny thing is that the majority of us don’t like them either, they make us look like savages but we are good people who want to contribute to society and not just be statistics that would be used against us. A lot of people are complaining about immigrants taking tax payers money, but the undocumented workers that i know get taxes deducted from their paychecks but could never claim them. We as mexicans also hate when people take advantage of the government money and just take the easy way out. We want education, we want success. and happiness just like everyone else. I don’t know i just don’t want to be seen as what we’re portrayed as in the media, we are all different. Sorry if it’s repetitive, messy, and probably doesn’t make sense. Just my thoughts. No offense to anybody either. If you read this, thanks.

Except there really is no invasion, no growing national crisis. In fact, recent statistics show that immigration from Mexico has actually gone downand steeply so—over the past decade. (An estimated 80,000 unauthorized migrants crossed the Mexican border into the United States last year, down from 500,000 ten years ago.) More to the point: There is nothing new about this story. Importing foreign labor has always been the American way, beginning with 4 million slaves from Africa. Later came the Jews and Poles, the Hungarians, Italians, and Irish, the Chinese and Japanese—everything you learned in sixth-grade social studies about the great American melting pot. And with each group came a new wave of anti-immigrant, pro-Anglo rage.

Amurica

Dad: …you gotta see all these logs. Piles of logs to be split. Massive.

Me: You should hire yourself some Mexicans to help.

Dad: That’s who cut them! Some guy from Georgia with his Mexicans.

Undocumented Immigrants Paid $11.2 Billion In Taxes While GE Paid Nothing

thinkprogress.org

This past month, there was much outrage over the fact that General Electric, despite making $14.2 billion in profits, paid zero U.S. taxes in 2010. General Electric actually received tax credits of $3.2 billion from American taxpayers.

At the same time that General Electric was not paying taxes, many undocumented immigrants, who are typically accused of taking advantage of the system while not contributing to it by many on the right, paid $11.2 billion in taxes. A new studyby the Institute for Taxation and Economic Policy shows that undocumented immigrants paid $8.4 billion in sales taxes, $1.6 billion in property taxes, and $1.2 billion in personal income taxes last year. The study also estimates that nearly half of all undocumented immigrants pay income taxes.
