Full names Ijeoma Daisy Okwara, has a degree in English Language from Abia State University. She presently works part-time with a telecommunication company in Lagos but channels the rest of her time to the studio. Challenging as it may seem, she still pulls it off on this debut and many other songs that will be released to the public later. In her words, “Music gives me joy. It makes me look beyond my challenges.”
“Oloomi”, as rendered by Ijeoma was written by Harrysong and produced by Del B. It is not just a love song – it is a story that will take lovers back to the drawing board. It is a song that calls for reconciliation and reassurance. Listeners will not only relate to this song, they will also commend the Imo State born singer for a job well done.
She is signed to Dudutoonz Studios as a brand ambassador for the multimedia company that is also responsible for her brand, perception and quality control.
The first time IJEOMA was spotted on stage was at MTN Project Fame 2008 where she vocally competed with other talented singers across Nigeria and West Africa. She may not have won the competition but it has not made her less of a gifted singer.
Went to work.
Finished reading Looking For Alaska. I’m not sure I understand it because it isn’t about animals but I want to talk to someone about it.
Started reading The Aquariums of Pyongyang. I think this was recommended in a video by John Green, actually. It’s very difficult to stomach. Fuck North Korea.
Went to Ijeoma’s karaoke party. John, Maria, Marie, her date Pedro (who it looks like is an excellent tattoo artist), Aham, Lindy, Cory, Jon, Steve, Josh, and others were there. I sang Shameless. Then John and I did Forgot About Dre. He was Dre. Later I sang Faith and Valerie.
John crashed on my couch.
