Klaine drabble - "Escape"
Kurt is an infamous, mysterious street artist and Blaine is enamored by his work.
Blaine had never seen Escape’s face before, and yet he was completely enamored by him.
Nobody knew who Escape – the infamous street artist of New York City – really was. He always managed to avoid the cops; just created his artwork and disappeared into the night. What few pictures and shaky videos could be caught of him did not reveal anything except a tall figure clad in black, and a flash of brown hair. Nothing much to go off of. It was not Escape himself that had made him no well-known, after all, it was his graffiti all over the city.
Blaine had been a huge fan of his work for over a year now, ever since he spray-painted that beautiful scene on the side of a skyscraper of two young men holding hands, foreheads pressed together, contented smiles on their faces, with the title ‘Love is Love’ and Escape’s signature scrawled at the bottom. Blaine had taken to studying his work, photographing as many of his pieces as he could find before they were painted over or torn down, trying to predict where he’d strike next (and nearly always guessing wrong). There had been a couple of near-encounters, but before Blaine could get close enough to actually see anything apart from his hooded outline, Escape would – well, escape. The name was nothing if not accurate.
But then, on a cool autumn night, when Blaine was making his weary way home after a long day of classes, he turned the corner and came up short. Because there was a man, clad in black, spray can in hand, and he knew at once who it was.
