South Africa requires "Made in the Occupied Palestinian Territories” labels on products from the region in place of “Made in Israel” labels, the trade ministry said.

This is an outrage. South Africa is…Just UGH. I have no respect. There is no such thing as Palestine, it is a name given to the area by the Romans. NO COUNTRY existed there called Palestine. Therefore there is no such thing as the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

I like that there’s a magazine called Mother Jones which calls for gun control. Apparently the people at this magazine know nothing about the historical figure Mary Harris Jones or the fact that labor battles in her time were actual battles against private company militias and the National Guard.
