Rainbow Rumpus Party Town: A FLARP Homestuck Ask Panel

We are seeking a great cast for an Ichibancon Homestuck Ask Panel to take place the first weekend of the convention.  We are looking for the beta trolls, beta kids, and alpha kids.  This will be an ask panel, however we’ve decided to do it a little differently: this will be a role-play style panel where your character will role-play his or her friends.  Don’t worry, we expect several of these characters to be hilariously awful role-players.  All characters are open to audition for except John, Dave, and Karkat who will be running this show.  

We will be taking auditions from now until Nov. 30 and will inform the chosen applicants by Dec. 2.  You must have a complete cosplay prior to the panel, but you are not expected to audition in cosplay, although it is preferred. Answer each of the questions below. Your video can be no longer than 3 minutes.  Please email all videos, questionnaires, and a photo of your completed outfit (if you have one) to ceylonfizz@gmail.com. Feel free to audition for multiple roles!

What is your panel experience?

Audition video questions:

a) Introduce yourself and tell us what you think about your class and aspect.

b) Tell us what you think of one of the trolls and one of the kids. What are their best and worst qualities?

c) In character, pretend you are your character’s best friend. Repeat question a. (This means John would act like Dave, Nepeta like Equius, etc.)

d) In character, pretend to be a character yours can’t stand and answer: What are my best qualities?

e) Optional: if you are auditioning for a character who canonically raps (Gamzee, Tavros, Dirk, Equius), please include a sample.  It doesn’t have to be original material, we just want to know if you can deliver a rehearsed rap.  These three characters may extend their audition videos to 5 minutes.
