Kid Suffers Serious Burns Due to Own Stupidity
I read this on Huff Po and debated sharing, but here it goes:
(From HuffPo) One 12-year-old boy from Pittsburgh, Penn., sustained second-degree burns on his back after engaging in a dangerous new teen fad with his brother and friends last weekend, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
The “salt and ice challenge” is making its rounds across YouTube and social networking sites. To play the game, kids press salt and ice against their skin for as long as they can tolerate the burning pain or until the injury - which is similar to frostbite — becomes too severe… (For more of the story and a really graphic photo, visit HuffPo)

A Potentially Catastrophic Decision
I woke up to some really wonderful news this morning! Ed Sheeran’s music video for Give Me Love finally came out today. Although I have no idea what happened to the Vyclone fan video thing, the whole music video is stunning, gorgeous, exquisite, lovely, any adjective you could ever think of that’s synonymous to anything nice because I’m running out of adjectives, basically. What made me really happy is that there are different kinds of couples kissing in the video; gay, interracial, straight, lesbian, etc. And the girl in the video reminds me of a VS model. (It’s because of the wings and the fact that she really does look like a VS model.)
I’m still crying.
Dorothy came over to my house today and taught me how to play Blackbird by The Beatles. We only reached the intro but I’m getting there! Albeit rather slowly…
Since we have the attention span of a four year old child, we got bored of playing the guitar rather quickly and moved on to some more…interesting things.

It actually started yesterday when Angelica showed me a video of Finn and Jack doing the Twin Mail. And then I infected Dorothy too with this disease sort of thing and so we spent our afternoon and evening watching mindless videos of people doing mindless things. Eugh.
Basically we fell in love with Caspar Lee and Finn and Jack Harries. (Jack is mine and Finn is hers. The power of twins.) (I’m currently reading everything I type down with a British accent. Help me.)
Finn and Jack look like they were sculpted by gods. Bless their parents. Look at Caspar’s eyes, though. Every time he does a video it’s like he’s staring into your soul. AAAHHHH.
Oh and we ordered pizza somewhere in between. Idk yay pizza!
Things went downhill when we saw Caspar doing the Ice and Salt Challenge. Dorothy suggested that we try it and I stupidly said yes. Which resulted in some painful results.
We possibly burnt our hands. Possibly because we’re not sure and we’re too scared to ask any adult. Although I think we did some pretty bad damage to our hands… Mine still feels like it’s on fire.
We videoed ourselves doing the challenge and it was absolutely priceless. We looked like some banshees giving birth. Although it’s never going to leave my laptop….hopefully.
Somewhere in the middle of watching youtubers, Dorothy and I went on Omegle and Chatroulette. We saw like eight penises tonight. I’m still traumatized.
If you went on Omegle and had ‘gay porn’ as your interests then I hope you had as much fun as we did.
Sembreak is almost over, how sad. Although it’s not really back to reality since we’re just going to practice for the intrams when we get back to school. I hope.
