“Some Cum Loudly.”

Graduation. Nothing particularly notable there except for the fact that I tunnel visioned it across the stage and don’t even really remember most of it.

Off to dinner. 45 minutes at Olive Garden or 5 minutes at the deserted Panera. 

Party with my fiancee and his best friend, a.k.a. Andrew and Hannah. Had fun, accidentally flashed everyone. Met up with an old friend. Got the best hugs that ever have been. 

Mom freaks the fuck out. Absolute sheer and utter panic. Retrieves me from the beach.

5 hour energy up in this bitch. + coke. + starbucks.

” Baby, five hour energy is bad. It’s like liquefied sour patch kids but bad.”

2 a.m. massive headache, rode a bull, climbed a rock wall, qtip fought. Had an icey. Did the cha cha slide. 

3 a.m. i am awake. the five hour energy did it’s job.

4:30 a.m. just now getting in bethany’s car. omfg so late. dehydrated as fuck.

5 a.m. sleep

10 a.m. awaken my child.

Me: “I don’t get it. This unfortunate looking girl came into the store today with her husband and it’s unfair how hot he was. Unfair.”

Me: “I mean I don’t get it. How is it that the hot guys are marrying the not-so-hot girls? Why aren’t they marrying ME?”

Brother: “So, two days ago that girl at work told me that she liked me”

Me: “Is it because I’ve got better hair than these guys? I mean, everyone has off days. I had an awful hair day today. It was so awful. Humidity is the worst.”

Me: “Maybe I intimidate them.”

Brother: “And I didn’t reply. I laughed it off and I’m going to make her wait until next week for a reply or whatever. She’ll want me more this way.”

Me: “Maybe it’s my ego?”

Me: (suddenly paying attention to my brother) “My God, you are the douchiest of all douchedom. You know girls don’t like that.”

Brother: “Fee, please be quiet before I shove you out of this car.”

Me: “Well, personally I think it’s because I intimidate them.”

Brother: “Ma, I’ve finally figured out why Fee and I like being single.”

Me: “Maybe they’re intimidated by my intelligence AND beauty. That’s lethal combination, you know. Everyone knows that. And since I have both…”

Mommy: “Why”

Brother: “because we’re so goddamn selfish.”

Me: “It’s true, Mom. I love only me…and maybe you too..idk, I have to think about it”

I definitely liked Leviathan much more than I did Behemoth. It was still fun, and I did enjoy it (plus Lilit/Deryn omg I was laughing so hard), but it was definitely a lot slower paced than Leviathan was. Honestly though, my biggest complaint isn’t the storytelling, it’s the Deryn/Alek. Is it really that much to ask that the the MC girl and MC boy just be platonic life partners good friends FOR ONCE? Especially when they work amazingly that way? Blah.

I’ll still keep an eye out for Goliath, but I really wish people (yes, you too, authors) would stop shipping people just because they’re close.
