30 Day Personal Challenge, day four
4. If you could chose a time period to be born in, which one would it be and why?
There are three different periods I would loved to have been a part of.
1. Yugoslavia during Tito’s reign.
My grandparents and parents lived during this time and always say those were the best years of their lives. You could go anywhere, live anywhere, country rewarded hard working people and economy was the strongest. I would love to be a part of youth work actions, which basically rebuilt the country after WWII, to live in time when Tito sent Stalin to hell, united people who didn’t want any part of the cold war, and to feel bratstvo i jedinstvo, to be part of something so great.
2. Medieval Bosnia.
It was the time when our territory was the greatest in history, the time of independence and kings. We had castles, and BAMF kings who practiced their own religion. When the pope threatened with a Crusade, they agreed to Catholicism only to continue with Bosnian church the moment he turned his back. There is such amazing culture and history in this period and it would be amazing to actually live through it.
3. Illyria.
I know very little about this period and I would love to learn more. There were many tribes of the Illyrians, and the Liburni with their matriarchal society are the most interesting to me. Illyrians fought Romans, had their own culture and society and I would love to learn more about them.
Day 10: You Favourite Sam/Other Death Scene
When Sammy died in Dean’s arms in All Hell Breaks Loose (Part 1).
How right before it happened they like, called out each other’s names and were so happy to see each other and then that happens and Dean runs to him and grabs him and is all like, It’s not even that bad, I’m going to take care of you. And then he dies and he’s holding him and my creys forever I can’t even- god those earlier seasons were evil to me.
