They have fucked up Catelyn’s character so much that she might have a logic now.
I’ve just watched the episode and I haven’t thought it out yet, but her sense of guilt and regret towards Jon could increase the tragic features of her character.
Because it’s like her incapacity to love Jon as a mother is the cause of the loss of her children and of her failing them as well.
And she knows that.
And she regrets that.
