I'll be your guide || Wrenna

Hanna was sat in her favourite little coffee shop, a small privately owned establishment that Hanna would choose over Starbucks anyday. The only problem was that coffee reminded her of Spencer which in turn led her to Melissa. The person who she was meeting was the gorgeous doctor with the most perfect accent, but that doctor also happened to be Melissa Hasting’s ex. She knew that the girl code stated no ‘fraternising’ with your friend’s ex, but did that extend to sisters of friends, she wasn’t sure, it was a grey area. She pushed it from her mind though and sipped her caramel latte as she waited. She’d sent him directions but given that he wasn’t used to New York he easily could have gotten lost, or stood her up. Suddenly her mind kicked into over-drive, maybe she’d read the signs wrong, maybe she was wrong to be waiting here for him hoping for more than just a sight-seeing tour of the big apple.

She hadn’t mentioned to Spencer that she was meeting Wren because she was sure that Spencer wouldn’t approve and Hanna didn’t really want anyone putting a dampener on it. She’d been feeling a little down recently, even before Ali had gone missing and the recent boy attention was certainly helping. Wren had been pretty flirty with her and Caleb seemed to want to look after her, a trait she very much liked to see. She knew that she should probably be devoting her free time for looking for Alison but posters already lined the streets and the Police were on high alert, this was New York city, she wouldn’t even know where to begin looking. Evelyn had told her to go have some time for herself and maybe that was what this was, just a little time to herself to focus on something else over work and Ali.

Just as Ali crossed her mind she noticed the poster, it was stuck up across the street from the coffee shop but it was obvious it was Ali. Her long blonde hair glowed and she smiled with just the necessary amount of menace that Hanna had come to know. Of course there was always the chance that this was just a big stunt on Ali’s behalf, to see how many people cared and to drive them crazy. Ali had a history of messing with the people closest to her but this seemed a bit far-fetched even for her. She was awoken from her daze by the bell above the door sounding and she looked up to see a familiar face, a familiar and attractive face.
