Sign upShanghai Metro advises female passengers to dress modestly
[victim blaming and discussion of harassment ahead and at links]
Someone on the Shanghai Metro wore a semi-transparent dress. The Metro posted a photo of them on a micro-blogging site. The English translation of the caption is “Dressing like that, it would be unusual for a lady not be harassed. There can be perverts on the subway and it’s hard to get rid of them. Please have self respect, ladies.”
Two women protested on the platform and train. They wore black hoods that covered all but their eyes. One held a sign that read ”I can be coquettish, but you can’t harass me.”

It hurts.
Don’t you just hate having strong feelings for someone that doesn’t even know how you feel? There’s just so many things you want to say to them to try to make it work, but it’s too complicated. It can either turn into a miracle and they’ll feel the same way, or it’ll turn into a mistake and you’ll completely ruin your “friendship” with them, then they’ll slowly become more distant from you.
