there was this one story about some guy named James who dreamed of a running silver fox for like every day of his life and some old hag told him that it was a beautiful woman and gave him a stick that transforms into a sword to go hunt for her and he was traveling around the world doing so so when he finally found her she eloped into a cave and he ran after her
ok so the cave was stupidly magical with like gifts and shit and at the end there was this hydra who was stupidly large and dangerous and scaly
and i go on about it for like a page as how he had to fight it to get to the fox and how he was nervous and the last two sentences:
“He was nervous when he started fighting, but he knew he had to kill the hydra. He did.”
