but what are y’all saying to magazine editors when they lighten WoC, an act that explicitly suggests our natural skin tones are undesirable? what about designers who refuse to hire black models for their shows? or even in your own lives, when you see young girls of color being teased by their white counterparts? do you chastise your friends for dehumanizing gabourey sidibe the way you demonize WoC for saying your precious lena dunham looks like a tub of mayo?

where is your concern for “the cause” then? where are your keystrokes, your exclamation marks, your angry petitions?
