Last night I dreamed that I was invited to my own funeral. I gave myself a very poignant eulogy.
Of course, I eventually realized that I seemed to, in fact, still be alive, despite that lovely funeral. I think I reached the conclusion that that meant I was actually a clone with all the same memories as the original. Because of course.
Also Legolas was in it for a bit, sporting a very smart bob hairstyle. (He might have been a clone too.)
Father and Son
Rain groaned as he got to his feet, feeling the sand beneath him. He couldn’t help sighing as he knew he had likely just been thrown into a different time again
. “How many times is this gonna happen to me?” He muttered to himself rather annoyed.
Seriously, did the goddess enjoy doing this to him as a hobby or something? He glanced around, taking note that he was on Pulse. He glanced towards the sky looking for the new Cocoon Bhunivelze, but frowned when he saw the old Cocoon suspended by the crystal pillar instead. Ok so before 500AF, that much was obvious now. Taking a look around at his surroundings, he also guessed that he was in New Bodhum, right when it was starting out too…
“Damn…” He whispered.
Just how far back in the time line was he?
Hope sat on the beach in New Bodhum, a bit mindlessly watching the horizon in front of him. This had become a habit for him, just letting his mind wander. He didn’t really put much thought to anything that happened around him, but it’s not like he even had to, nothing too life chaning wouldn’t happen, he was sure of that.
These moments didn’t last too long for him, though, it was just a break, mostly from studying he had been doing a lot. It was good to get some fresh air and actually see some sunlight that was not coming just from his window. Soon, Hope got up on his feet and began to walk along the coastline to get back inside.
Stop being antisocial and go visit your friend already.
Easier said than done. Dev’s bed is comfy and this book is good. But the promise of food is more than enough. Clearly, the way to Karolis’ heart is through his stomach. Food, though. He groans, gropes for his cane a bit, and gets up. It’s taken him a while, but he’s finally learned how to navigate through Dev’s house without a problem, and he easily makes his way to the transportalizer. He feels around the keyboard a bit as he punches in her coordinates, and oh hey transportalizing feels fucking weird. Always a first time for everything, huh?
When I mention things I don’t enjoy about my body, I’m not calling myself obese. I have functioning eyes. Even with a touch of body dysmorphia, I know that’s not accurate.
I was one weight for 5 years…then either my wedding band weighs 8-10 lbs or I gained as much so I’m just suddenly not comfortable with my shape, you know????
That’s all I’m saying.
