Snails the size of softballs have been spotted frequently in my area, as well as many others. Please stay alert, since they are an intrusive species and are known to carry bacteria that can cause a disease similar to meningitis. If you see one, do NOT approach it. Tell an adult/a specialist, and STAY AWAY FROM IT.
