The first thing that goes through her mind as the shattered glass from LED map tinkles and chimes on the floor of her office is the look Hotch will give her when he lectures her on the cost of replacing it. Garcia takes and a breath and then realised that he’s cold and still on a slab, and she’ll never see the lingering warmth behind his stern look again.

While she refuses the accusation, Aaron Hotchner finds himself drawn to the enigmatic woman. The team, however, worries that Hotch’s affections may be keeping him from seeing just how likely it is that she is the killer.

AU with Garcia as Jack’s teacher. She calls the parents because Jack is sad about the divorce and she falls in love with Hotch. Sneaky Jack thinks Garcia will make his dad smile because she’s funny and awesome and kind of matchmakes with Haley’s help! (Because in this fic she got herself a boyfriend and wants Aaron happy ‘cause she’s not a bad person!)
