There’s a very interesting and insightful interview over here with Eike Koenig, founder of Hort. I’ve been a long time fan of their work and the playful, free way they go about it.

“I am not interested in trends… You can always invent something new in design so I never really think about what other people are doing, I’m more interested in what I am doing. So I just create my own images and if they become a trend or not is of no interest to me. What I’m interested in is my work becoming a success.”
