Okay, so at school, Maddy and I are doing a huge end of the year project and guess what, we’re doing it on Homestuck!
So basically, we really need your help! Yep! For starters, please Reblog or Like this post if you are a fan of Homestuck, old or new! We’re going to need all the help we can get so we can make this big! Now, if you’d like to be in our project in cosplay, or show off your contribution to the fandom in any way, please just submit/ask/send fan-mail to either one of our blogs! :D
When you send it in please state the name of the character you drew/cosplayed. Along with telling us how long you’ve been in the fandom and what Homestuck means to you and how it affected your life. TROLL RPG PROJECT
I’VE STARTED ON MY HIATUS PROJECT :D
It’s going to be “Troll RPG,” a Homestuck tabletop inspired by the game “Maid RPG.” Essentially what this means is that you roll up pretty much every part of your character using the dice, from their stats and personalities all the way up to their classpects and Lands. It also exclusively uses d6s! I considered making it exclusively d8s to Homestuckify it, however, d6s makes some of these things really easy to chart out (such as rolling up your hemospectrum caste and your classpect).
The rules obviously still need a ton of working out but here’s what I have so far! It’s exclusively “rolling up your character,” and I haven’t added things like weapons, lusus, or lands yet due to how complicated those charts will get. However, you can totally use this to just roll up a new fantroll if you want to! Since this is “Troll RPG,” the rules are made for Trolls, not humans or Cherubs or what have you.
i feel to clarify this before my head explodes.
laconic-chimera and my homestuck god tier project has apparently been taken as pretty much absolute and has apparently become a resource to the god tiers. gr8! w/e. but a lot of people are trying to argue that our info is wrong and i have to say
shut the fuck up. i really do not give a shit if you disagree with our info. we spent a long ass fucking time on this and i cant even count the hours we spent wORKING ON GOD TIER RESEARCH ALONE. dont even fucking start with us. not a lot is known about some of the god tiers. to whoever bitched about the bard class, dont care. we never said our word was absolute and hEY AGAIN WE KNOW LIKE NEXT TO NOTHING. we spent a lot of time picking through fanon and fan theory and reading homestuck and going through the wiki and analyzing actions and character traits and the use of powers and the fucking passive/active shit and fUCKING COLORS. we probably know a shit ton more on god tiers than we should.
so heres the point: the way classes affect the player and the way aspects are use isn’t always literal. it seems there’s been a shitload of confusion.
you dont necessarily become shit or are literally a thing. lets take aradias god tier, maid of time. people are looking at it like becomes/assists with time. no, she doesnt become time. not literally. but if you look at her actions, raising an army of doomed selves, using jack to teleport and hide, she does “become” time. time is her strong suit, the control of it, using it to aid -assist- others.
some are more literal, but still fairly figurative. (homestuck is p figurative guys.) lets take vriskas, thief of light. “steals luck/knowledge to benefit self.” she did take for her own gain. thats how she worked. so the benefit of self part is fairly literal. however, she doesnt actually steal luck or knowledge. this is where personality comes into play. she was a manipulative character who put up a front of gr8ness while having lots of doubts about herself. stealing knowledge and luck could mean how she manipulated others to benefit herself.
all in all, god tier and how they are used really is a reflection of the personality of a person.

I just remembered. There is no school tomorrow. Fuck yes. I was going to just keep the picture of Kanaya I am working on right now in pencil but now that I have all fucking night I’m inking the shit out and adding color to this bitch. Sorry Lucas, your going to have to wait a bit longer.
My fellow homestucks I formally request your help on a small project I’m working on. All I need are ships; crack ships, sunken ships and rising ships. I dont know many ships so this would be greatly appreciated. Reblog so others may help too

Good news and bad news.
The good news is that we have some people who have shown an interest in the project. The bad news is that they live on the other side of the country. Of course, this isn’t a problem so far as script and music writing goes. It does, however, present some complications for potential actors. Auditions won’t be for a long while, though, so hopefully by the time they roll around, the eager performers will be a little older and able to get to the Boston area on their own.
While we’re on the subject, a brief word about actors. The minimum age is 13. I may make special allowances for 12-year-old actors with acting experience who can work in a professional manner. There is no max age limit, but you have to appear the age of your character. Hopefully it will work out so that you look two years older when we start shooting the Act 6 parts.
We will also be looking for adults at some point who can play the Alternian ancestors. As always, stay tuned, and thanks!
