ATTENTION BALTIMORE HOMESTUCKS :>
HI! My names Christy, and I’m a homestuck fan!
Now that that’s out of the way, I’d like to bring the idea of a BALTIMORE HOMESTUCK MEET into the conversation.
The tentative plan for this particular meet would be: Saturday, March 24th in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor by the big ass fountain (Baltimore is in Maryland, I know it sounds silly to say this for those of you who live in Baltimore or in Maryland in general, but I’ve gotten this question before.) Miranda (gaywalrus) and I would probably be running the meet. At the moment we’re thinking running from about 1-5pm and depending on the weather is like we’d have an outdoor draw party, and have snacks, talk about things and be dorks in general! OH! Casual cosplay is allowed and encouraged! :>
If the weather takes a turn for the worst (Rain, chilly, super windy, you know, just generally bad weather) we’re going to also be looking into a place for us to duck into. So far we have a few ideas, but we need to talk to them before we’ve got a definite place.

ATTENTION ALL HOMESTUCK FANS IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY (NEW YORK)/NEW YORK CITY/LONG ISLAND OR ANYWHERE CLOSE!
Do you like cons? I bet you do. They’re fucking fantastic. But you know what sucks? Those high entrance fees. Also the LONG DISTANCE to get to them. I mean, who wants to rent a hotel for WAY too much money and pay over 50$ just to go to a con??
Don’t you just want to meet some fellow Homestuck fans? Cosplay together and find ones that live relatively close to you so you can easily hang out again??
Then man you have got to get your ass to NON-CON.
Now you may be thinking, ‘What the hell is Non-Con?’
Non-Con is a con at VASSAR COLLEGE in POUGHKEEPSIE. (for all you high-schoolers, this is also a great time to check out this college in person) Check out this kick ass looking school. Even better, there’s a Metro-North train right from GRAND CENTRAL to Poughkeepsie.

It’s February 22-24, and guess what Homestucks? The admission cost is only 19$ at the door, and 12$ if you pre-register here. What’s even better? If you’re a student at any college or highschool, you get in FREE with just a school ID. I mean come on, what’s better than a free Con?
I’ll tell you what. On the 23rd (the Saturday) there is going to be a HOMESTUCK PANEL. Pretty great right? You get to ask your favorite characters questions, and see them interact! (Please note it’s a PG-13 panel though)
It’s even run by THIS COOL CHICK.
And you know what would be really great on top of you coming? YOU GETTING TO BE IN THE PANEL! Auditions are due at the end of the day to day, but there will shortly be a second round of auditions! We still don’t have auditions for: ERIDAN, TAVROS, EQUIUS, SOLLUX, KARKAT, KANAYA, DIRK, JAKE, or JANE. Also if you act quick, there are still characters that have been auditioned for that you could still grab the part of! Audition info is here, and trust me, it’s really not hard to do.
Even if you don’t want to be on the panel, please come! It’ll be super cool and just like a meet up, but with more to do and a goddamn beautiful ass location.
I’m counting on you guys! We had so many people at HoHoNewYearStuck - I’m sure we can just as easily get that many again! So even if you’re not going, tell a friend! Spread the word, but please try to come! I can guarantee you it’ll be awesome. <3

TCAF Draw party part two!
A lot of people are saying they can’t make it to the library one during noon, so we decided that it will be a good idea to have a draw party part two after the festival and perhaps we can get some dinner together :D
When: 5pm-10pm May 5th Saturday
Where: Dundas Square, which is 3 min away from the library if you ride the subway.
it’s on the intersection of Young Street and Dundas street and the closest subway station is Dundas station.
We will be meeting in front of the library at 5 pm and go there together if you are afraid of getting lost or anything :D
What to bring and wear: the usual, drawing utensil and sketchbook. Wear homestuck merchandise or something orange so we can pick you out of the crowd. It might be cold so it’s a good idea to bring something warm. It is not likely to rain but if you get paranoid, always a good idea to bring something water proof.
Cosplay are OKAY to wear if you really want to, but be aware that we will be in a public area so please don’t hit people with buckets.

Concerning the June 10th Homestuck Meetup
Location: Japan Town Pagoda at noon
Plan of action: There are a lot of people, so 12-1 will give people time to get to the pagoda to meet up. From 1 onwards, we will either move to a nearby park or stay in Japan Town. It depends how rowdy we are and how many of us.
Rules (PLEASE READ. ALL VIOLATORS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND SECURITY WILL BE CALLED IF REFUSED TO LEAVE)
Rules:
- Absolutely no drugs, alcohol, or weapons are allowed at the gathering. We will ask you to leave if you break this rule, perhaps even call the cops.
- Do not attend this event if you’re drunk or high, we’d like to this to be a sober environment.
- Do not physical or verbally harass ANYONE at the gathering, or thestaff will ask you to leave. That means no hassling people either.
-Grey paint must be sealed so it doesn’t drip or crack and peel.
-In addition to grey paint, please do not go into the mall with it on your arms at least.
-Speakers must be teeny tiny and not very loud (big enough for small groups)
-PG-13 PLEASE.
- In addition to PG-13, lets all be Sensible and Mature Young Adults. That means no screaming or obnoxiousness. I know you are excited but please I don’t want to get kicked out.
-Any and all damages will fall upon the shoulder of the abuser aka if you damage merchandise with your grey paint, then you have to pay for it.
This meetup is designed for people to get together and hang out, NOT for people to scream and act like hooligans. We will ask you to leave if you disobey these rules and none of the admins are afraid to call security. Its really easy to have a good time, we just need to follow a few rules.

Just how many Homestucks were there at the Sparkles Lock in?
After calculating all the costs out, and tallying up my receipts, we sold 192 arm bands in total.
You guys.
We were 8 shy of 200 Homestucks.
I am so proud I can’t even- you guys were amazing. Thank you all again!

Halloween Horror Nights Meet Up!
Hey there guys! So my birthday is in early November and I’ve always wanted to go to Halloween Horror Nights, but never have… And I love Silent Hill. SO! I will be showing up and a few Homestucks have showed a great interest in going as well! As such, I am making it an event! Here’s the info!
I will be up there with several Homestucks from October 25-28th. The meet up would be happening on Saturday October 27th.
We will be going to either Universal Studios or Island of Adventure then going on to Halloween Horror Nights after that! You are not required to be there all day for both events of course!
Please let me know how interested you all are and please contact me through private message to help find out who is going and organize us so we can easily find each other!

EDIT:
I am aware that there is a Disney meet and people are welcome to go to that. I’m doing this for my birthday. I am offering this as an open invitation to my birthday and I will certainly not be upset if only a few people come. Enough people have requested that I make this an event that I have decided to do so.
Update number two is that it would be awesome if you guys could let me know if you want to go to Universal or Island of Adventure during the day! I will be posting the tally here.
