Maybe eating a cookie (or two) before I should be getting dressed to workout wasn't my best idea....

I experienced “lead legs” - or heavy legs - for the first time ever on this run. What an absolutely awful feeling! I’m not exactly sure why but I’m guessing it was partly due to the fact I didn’t properly warm up. Warming up makes a huge difference for me… Even just a brisk 2 minute warm up can make the difference between a good run and one of the worst runs ever. I plan on running tomorrow (1.20.12) so we’ll see how the legs feel after a days rest and a proper warm up.
