crisscolfer, headcanons.
He doesn’t flinch when he feels Darren’s fingers brush the back of his hand. He does have to blink hard on the countdown to the camera flash, trying not to let the emotion show on his face.
Darren always finds a way, somehow, wiggling in at the last second, smiling and charming his way into being as close to Chris as is safe.
Sometimes he reaches all the way across the person in-between them to brush Chris’s side. Sometimes he hooks a finger in a belt loop, tugging insistently, possessively. Sometimes, so brief it’s almost accidental, it’s an open palm to his lower back just long enough so that Chris knows it was very much intentional.
But like this, when there’s not really anyone between them, just a head that will give the illusion of separating theirs on camera, Darren presses the whole back of his hand to Chris’s. It’s as close as they can get to a grip without the fear of not pulling their hands away fast enough— it’s the most comforting touch Chris can imagine.

Headcanons for Enj and Combeferre's friendship?
- They are platonic husbands. That’s not a headcanon; that’s fact. Victor Hugo wrote that word for word. P-l-a-t-o-n-i-c. H-u-s-b-a-n-d-s.
- Enjolras is capable of talking to anyone of the Amis about matters involving the revolution, but when it comes to himself (as is emotions, ideas, etc) he will rarely go to anyone, but Combeferre.
- When they had classes together, Combeferre reminded Enjolras every day as the entered the building that E had to just sit down, listen to the lecture and not argue with the professor. That, of course, never did stop E from doing so.
- Combeferre has lost count of how many times he’s had to walk a sleepy, half-conscious Enjolras to bed after he passed out on his work.
- Sometimes when Combeferre reads, he gets into the book so much that the world kind of just melts around him. This is really not okay when Enjolras is trying to talk to him about coming plans. Eventually E has to resort to flicking ‘Ferre’s glasses, which smudge them (and annoys him to no end). ‘Ferre will take them off to clean them, leaving him utterly blind and with no choice but to listen to E’s ramblings on the revolution.
- Sometimes Combeferre, no matter how much he loves and is loyal to the revolution, is discourage at the thought of the amount of violence that will take place. Whenever Enjolras sees he’s in this state (and, granted, that isn’t always) he does try to help, but he really isn’t good at comforting. He ends up just sitting next to Combeferre and gives him an excuse to talk about those books of his. ‘Ferre knows E isn’t listening the whole time, but the fact that E is trying to help does make him feel a little better.
- Enjolras is often made the victim of playful jokes by Courfeyrac and Grantaire. When ‘Ferre sees he’s starting to lose his temper, he will pat E on the back, offer him a smile, then gently remind the others of the task at hand before Enjolras takes over again.
- Sometimes Enjolras doesn’t remember to tie his hair back when it grows out too long. If he ever forget, ‘Ferre will find himself tying it back himself when E sits and works on his speeches… That is, if Jehan doesn’t get there first.
- Combeferre will sneak a well liked book into Enjolras’ piles of papers when he’s preparing to go back to his own flat. Enjolras will always roll his eyes when he sees it.
- Combeferre can soothe Enjolras anger like no other can. It’s so impressive, that others will actually call ‘Ferre into the room when they notice E starting to lose it.

I think Mako becomes a cop because he was inspired by Korra. When he told her that she’s the most loyal, brave and selfless person he’s ever known, he wasn’t trying to get into her pants (asdlkjflsj) he meant it. I think that with all the events that had been happening with Amon and the Equalists, Mako realized just how much responsibility was lying on Korra’s shoulders.
Talk about Mako all you want, but the guy knows responsibility. He’s had to be responsible for another life in addition to his own when he was just eight years old. A child, living in the streets, homeless, starving. Begging and thieving to survive day to day, to provide for himself and his brother. So when he sees what Korra’s going through, that her job entails her to devote her whole life to the world, he respects and admires the shit out of that. He empathizes with her (yeah, Mako’s toooootally a sociopath *rolls eyes*). He makes sure to be there for her, to let her know that he knows she’s under a lot of pressure and that he wants to help her in any way he can.
I can imagine Mako asking himself, “What am I doing with my life?” He knows he wants to do something that will help others and the world he lives in, like Korra. And so, inspired by her, he decides to become a cop. It’s his way of giving back to the city that raised him through the good and (most definitely) the bad, by getting rid of its crime and protecting its citizens. He won’t be saving the whole world but at least he can help a part of it.
Also, I’m pretty sure that in addition to his police duties, he’ll want to be by Korra’s side when she’s saving the world.
Headcanons: Children and their parents
Okay, wanted to ask.
( All the kids, or most, seem to inherit a lot from their mothers (or fathers in F!Morgan and Lucina’s cases) but what about the opposite parent?
What’s you’re headcanon for children inheriting traits from their other parents?
EX: Henry!Inigo sometimes performs cursed dances, Vaike!Noire is really ripped, etc. )
So I had this idea the other night while I was researching non-SPN related angel references in the Bible and in Hebrew texts and it struck me that the word “satan” means “the adversary” or “the accuser” but is used 13 times in the Hebrew Bible with the definite article (as “Ha-Satan”, “the satan”), indicating more of a title than a specific being.
This is seen especially in the book of Job, where God sends the accuser (sometimes translated as “the prosecutor”) to test Job.
It got me to thinking about how Lucifer says to Nick, “I loved God too much”… What if Lucifer’s crime is that he loved God too much, but not in the way that people assume he meant. Rather, he willingly took on the position of the adversary in secret from the rest of the angels and mankind, doing God’s work but making himself hated by everyone out of love for his Father?
