A few of my salad dressing experiments

❁Tea Soaked: Brew a cup of herbal tea (some of my favorites to use are strawberry, hibiscus, mango, passionfruit, or orange). Add a splash of olive oil, a touch of balsamic or coconut vinegar, & spices like dill, lemon pepper, & salt.   This is how they make all of the dressings at my tea shop ;D

❀ Spicy & Fruity: Put orange juice, lime juice, lemon juice, apple juice, or whatever funky fruity juice you can find into a food processor or blender.  Add honey, spicy mustard, a dash of salt & pepper, a dollop of olive oil, & a sprinkling of raw sugar, then blend!  If you like a thicker dressing, try tossing whole fruits like clementines or mangos in.

✿ Raw & Savory: Soak some pistachios in a bowl of water overnight.  Blend pistachios, lime juice, dried celery powder, fresh herbs, & water until you get a creamy texture, and ta da!  Instead of pistachios, you could use cashews, chia seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, or whatever you like.  If I accidentally add too much water, I thicken it up with nutritional yeast… a must-have for vegans & raw foodies.

✾ Green Goddess: I accidentally came up with an amazing dipping sauce when I was high the other day.  Avocado, cooked edamame, dried cranberries, & a pinch of salt.  For a salad dressing, add a bit of water & oil to thin it out.  To make it a bit spicier… wasabi!!
