“I learned this year that people will be people. You sometimes see them as being different because you love them but sometimes you have to open your eyes and see that those disappointments are real, they will happen again and they are not accidents but character flaws. Don't let your love for someone or belief that they can be better and build them up deter you from seeing who they really are. Thats what I learned this year. It sounds naive but some things are deceptive and take more care to discern. ”
—SelfWe could be the best lovers in the world. Not sexually, but romantically. I would declare fantasy, and you would make it happen. Bring me down a star, or the moon. Give me faith, or reason to believe, in the smiles we wake up with every morning together. Life never felt so different and reluctantly beautiful until I met you.
You’ve chosen different. You’ve chosen someone just like you. Insecure. I know where you want me in your life, and I can’t accept that. I am no one’s half-time lover.
