Hang Around - Me

Every month at a local cafe’, an event called Songwriter’s Circle is held for an audience. 2 local musicians are invited to perform a set of their own original songs along with the host. The songwriter’s are also tasked with writing a brand new song based on a word or theme given out by the host. This month I was asked to participate and the word given was “jukebox”. The song you are about to hear/or are hearing is what I ended up writing. 

This is a rough demo of the song I recorded this morning. I added some harmony and threw some strings in to kind of get an idea of how this will sound if I choose to really finish it. My voice isn’t PERFECT here, but i’m really kind of thrilled with how this turned out.
