I got a PM tonight from HalfwayHome because she heard of my candlelight vigile. I of course asked why the account and stories were gone and this was the reply,
“And everything is okay. I pulled my own stories and have no intention of posting them anywhere else. As much as I adore my amazing fans, I’m just over all the negative readers I’ve been dealing with since I started some months back writing. Its extremely frustrating and too much of a headache to deal with the negativity and SQ fans that prefer to tear people down than enjoying what is put out there in the fandom.”
Now you all know…
I’m really saddened by this and I am seriously disappointed in anyone that sent this lovely writer any bad reviews about their stories. They were amazing and you have robbed a lot of us of our happiness.
Can we hold a candlelight vigil for HalfwayHome’s stories that have all been deleted off of ff.net, as well as the author’s account?

That HalfwayHome felt the need to delete the account and amazing stories because people just could not find it in themselves to stop hating on someone who wrote these unbelievable fics that gave me so many feels! I am truly disappointed you guys, i hope you’re happy cause i sure as hell am not.

Learning to give selflessly
Yesterday I donated my Marshal amp to the church down my street. The church has a half way home full of ex prisoners and gang bangers. But a lot of them actually want to turn there back to the streets. They are hard working men who do odd jobs around the neighborhood for donations. Mostly yard work and manual labor. But at the end of the day I can hear the church band playing Christian Rock. After donating the amp the men were very ecstatic and felt blessed. They kept telling me how they had prayed for the amp, and wanted to to give me a tax right off for it. But I refused because I want to practice giving selflessly and felt accepting the tax right off would be selfish. Even though the tax man is greedy. I’ll be practicing giving selflessly, because it felt good to see how excited the men were.
