I think my favourite episode is probably Thank You? It’s the one with the snow golem and the fire wolf pup. That episode is beautiful and the b-plot with Finn, Jake and the Ice King is great. Actually, my favourite is a tie between Thank You and BMO Noire.
The other ones I like are It Came from the Nightosphere, To Cut a Woman’s Hair, Susan Strong, Video Makers (which has my favourite joke in the entire show), Fionna and Cake, What Was Missing, Apple Thief (any episode with Tree Trunks ‘cause she’s my favourite character), Gotcha!, Card Wars and Five More Short Graybles.

Anything off my rec list. Specifically, Primavera, Dr. and Mrs. Princess Whitelaw, Wind at Dawn, Volatilis, and The Warmest Part of Winter (don’t let the fact that it’s friendship throw you off because it is completely worth it).

Yeah I totally feel where you are coming from! Like I don’t…dislike these episodes, but generally for the most part even stand-alones episodes add a little something to the overall ~plot~ (or characters) kind of?? Whereas these ones don’t?
Yeah, and pretty much every episode of Adventure Time can stand alone (even the ””plot”” heavier ones). Like, they all have what I like about Adventure Time? Great characters, great voice acting, the art is deceptively beautiful and it’s always really hilarious. But the episodes like King Worm are just….weird.

Everyone hates him, but I am pretty sure that he is... the way he is because he is hiding how broken he is, emotionally.
