A couple minutes ago,

I learned that a classmate of mine, who had been bravely fighting cancer, has passed away.

Even though she and I weren’t as close as the years progressed and we found our own groups of friends, she was still one of first friends I made in high school.

I can’t believe you’re gone.  I still imagine you and your silly insults and how you’d greet me with “Ew, Lyanne” and “qtpie.”  I just saw you a month or so ago.  I can’t imagine…this.

But, god bless you, Amy, and rest in peace.  Everyone cares about you.  Loves you.  Misses you.
