I fucking love summer

I’ve been more productive today than I have been in weeks and it’s entirely down to the weather. It’s affected me in loads of ways I didn’t consciously register at first … I’m walking straighter and taller because I’m not huddling to keep warm, for example, so I feel naturally more confident as I go about my day. It’s light for longer so even when I’ve done loads of things it still feels like I have lots of day left to accomplish. But the biggest thing is that I’m unlimited. I love feeling unlimited. My job as a professional stuff-maker rather relies on me believing when I try something new that I can absolutely do it - and, right now, the world is reinforcing that belief. I don’t have to wrap up, I don’t have to fight against the world; it is beckoning me forward with sunshine kisses that trace my skin and welcome me in. I’d forgotten what it was like to be sunny - and I’m going to savour every second.
