On the last week of March, I, together with my Cru friends went to a place or shall I say “hidden paradise” called Villa Arcadia Beach Resort in Talisayan, Misamis Oriental. It is a 1-2 hour drive(estimate) by land from the city proper. We left the city almost nine in the morning and arrived minutes past eleven.
This is the view that welcomed us in the resort. How nice it is to jump in the water! (oh summer)

Stomachs growling, we went ahead and ate our “lechon manok” and “liempo” that we bought along the way.
And for dessert, we had Krispy Kreme! YUM YUM YUUMM!!!:))

Because we were waiting for our fellow Cru members to arrive, we had the opportunity to stroll and explore the area. Time for photo ops too!
Now heading to the boardwalk!

Fish Feeding! haha! No, I didn’t. haha!

I had the courage to sit on the edge of the walk way. ( I was a little bit scared…) haha!

It’s been so long that I have been a bridge. It’s like a hanging bridge, what is different is that, under it are full of huge rocks and shallow water.

4,3,2,1… Time for jump shot!

My oh-so-game Cru friends. (Buggy and Jena)

That is Jena and Buggy doing their oh-so-famous ninja/kung fu panda pose.

Oh wait! Did I tell you that Villa Arcadia is named Villa Arcadia Beach Resort “D” Rocky Tent City? Hence the rocky pictures. What I mean is that… You know what I mean. haha!

These are my Cru friends playing volleyball in the pool. It’s not quite deep, just perfect for hanging around and playing games.

A cottage/ hut that visitors can rent while having a dip in the pool or sea or even while snorkeling.
While strolling in the uphill with my friend,B1, since they(Cru friends) were hanging out and playing in the pool, we have come across cages of birds, bunnies and a cage of monkey. They also had this mini golf course. Quite amazing, isn’t it?

Is this an eagle or a parrot? :D

Mini golf course of the resort. This is behind the big houses uphill.

Near sunset. A view from the dorm that we’re staying in.
On the last day, we had snorkeling. We rode the glass bottom where visitors, maximum of ten or eleven (not so sure), can rent the whole boat for only P1000. It was totally new experience! It was my first time and it was worth it! Too bad, my battery(cam) died! Poor me. Oh well. I have my lesson learned. :)
Planning for your next destination this summer time?
Oh yes. This resort is the place to be.
ENJOY! :)
