A Quick Guide for New Fanterns...
I haven’t updated one of these in 7 months, so it seems like a good time to make a fresh one.
Here’s some tips and fun details!
- There’s just over a half dozen tags attributed to the show, but the most popularly used tag is GLTAS.
- Fans of “Green Lantern: The Animated Series” are nicknamed “Fanterns”. The fan community was christened by the producer Giancarlo Volpe and the voice of Hal Jordan, Josh Keaton.
- The GLTAS creators, crew, and actors are very interactive in a very positive way with the Fantern community. We like to keep the interaction positive, so play nice! Here’s just a few of them with a public presence in the community.
- Be forewarned: Ceiling Giancarlo sees everything.
- We here at GreenLantern-TAS tag posts obsessively check the list out to learn running fandom in jokes and find out fun facts. The list always needs updating — so if you’re ever looking for something, just ask, we probably have an unlisted tag to be able to find it.
- Razaya or AyaXRazer is the tag we use to track our Razer/Aya ship.
- When tracking the Aya tag, it is heavily recommended you get Tumblr Savior as Aya is a very common name. You may also end up blocking people as you go further down the Aya tag.
- When tracking the Razer tag it is recommended you get Tumblr Savior and block out the words: game, gamer, gaming, mouse, headset
- Razer is a Sad Rage Zebra Bunny
- Saint Walker is also known as Saint Flawless
- Hal Jordan is also called PapaHal
- Kilowog is also known as KiloDad

Kickstarter....
So, after watch this speeches from the YJ and GLTAS creators/producers, I sort of had a think.
Now, I know I’m a nobody here and all, which is fine, but this is really important so please listen.
Greg said the reason Veronica Mars was allowed to do a Kickstarter was because Warner Bros. gave them permission to. This is important.
So, I idea, and I’m sure other have thought of this and have said already, is that when we go and post on WB pages and send them messages and such, is to say you are willing to give money to a Kickstarter for Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series, and tell them frequently. Like Giancarlo said, the guys in their nice suits will see that they can make money and spend less if we’re they ones paying.
Now, I don’t know how much good this will do, but I do know it’ll do more good than not doing it at all.
So please, while asking for the shows to be renewed, also say how willing you are to give money to a Kickstarter for these shows.
Remember, there is always hope and heroes never die.
