In celebration of you guys being such super-duper heroes, I’m going to have a giveaway in celebration of you all! ♥ It’s more like a thank you than anything else, and what better way to thank than with gifts? （* ワ *）
Rules of Entry:
- You must be following me (this is a thank you project for my followers, after all…).
- You can either like this once, reblog it once or do both. Doing both will grant you a double entry. (Subsequent reblogs will not be counted. The maximum is two entries per participant.)
- This post has to hit a minimum of a 200 notes (i.e. a 100 participants) for it to be viable. If not, the contest will sadly be extended until it does.

Yup, that’s it for you! :3 I’ll be going out to buy the cute stationery so I can update this post with pictures for you all, but I will not be buying the posters until the winners choose which groups they would like. I will be buying everything from a K-Pop store in town, so don’t be concerned about how long it will take for the items to reach me (and, subsequently, you). If there are any issues with the posters (groups are sometimes sold out at the store, sadly), I will let you know! n______n
Winners will receive both a hardcopy and electronic copy of their personalised scenarios. Depending on where you live, mailing could take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks (I live in New Zealand, guys, our only close friend is Australia…).

My actual christmas was very stressful and chaotic on account of my massive car troubles. Jean’s entire visit was kind of a clusterfuck but it was just nice seeing him again and being together. we exchanged christmas gifts christmas night and maybe someday he’ll show you what i got him but until then, i’ll show you what he got me…
This beautiful record player!
We had spoken about it quite a bit. About how strange, funny, and sad it was that i didn’t have a record player since it seems like by all accounts, I would be the kind of person to have one. So he corrected this by getting me one and look at how cute it is! It was his first record player too so it has a lot of sentimental value now for the both of us.
It’s a portable fisher-price record player that was made for children.
He also got me some other small, cute things…

it’s a small wood and lucite vintage box that has real butterfly wings and plants on the lid. inside is a bunny ring, a pin that was made using vintage fabric, and a little bunny eraser since he knows i like bunnies…

I don’t normally get many christmas gifts and i’m more or less okay with that. This year, I got a few really great ones that are terribly close to my heart i’d like to share with you all.
My friends christian(keepwiththeangels), anni(two-windmills), susie aka alex[ander], and their friend matt who i’ve never properly spoken to sent me the most lovely and loving christmas gift that i was so, so surprised and delighted to receive…

The book on top is this BEAUTIFUL dutch book that was published in 1949 according to google books.
i couldn’t find a publication date on the title page or frontispiece :(
it came with a cute book jacket that’s a bit tattered but just adds to it.
below that are some home-baked german cookies christian had promised me with sprinkles and i haven’t tried them yet but they look so, so good. i’m really excited to try them. :x
below the cookies and moving to the left are a couple postcards. NOTE HOW SIMILAR CHRISTIAN AND JEAN’S HANDWRITING IS. it’s spooky. the card flipped on it’s back is one christian got on vacation when he went on a cruise that departed from florida. me and jean were supposed to meet christian in tampa before he went on the cruise but we never got a chance to because of some massive-stressful car trouble on my end that if i fully explained, would emotionally exhaust me… the other post card is a german one since christian is oh-so very german.
above that, going all the way up are some DELICIOUS looking german candies, including some that read ‘Prince Polo’. These are pretty precious to all of us since Prince Polo is/was(?) the band that christian, anni, alex/susie, and matt were all a part of when i first met them and they’re all such a tight knit group of kids. they’re all so lovely and i didn’t know that their band was named after a german chocolate bar but it makes a lot of sense and is just the sweetest thing.
At the very top on the left, is another postcard with kitty stickers on it and on the back it reads, “the Mormon Tabby Nacho Choir”.
Underneath that is a german news paper that some day, i may try to read or else just pick out the words i recognize with my zwei jahr gymnasium deutsch skillz.
Really, Christian and the rest of these kids are the sweetest. I love them lots and lots. <3
