Mega YouTube upload! 4.5 hours of helmet-cam vid posted.

War footage… it’s usually heavily edited, cut and sanitized.  A cameraman could record several hours of video in a day, but websites and television channels will only show just a few seconds of footage.  Well the hell with that, I’ve just uploaded more than four hours of helmet cam footage to my YouTube account (links below).

A few weeks ago, I wrote a series of articles about the Libyan Revolution for Gizmodo.com.  GoPro helmet cam footage was included in the articles, but these videos were just a small snippet of the four and a half hours of video I took on June 7 2011 during the Battle for Galaa/Sofitt Hill.

For historical reasons I’m posting ALL of the helmet cam footage.  Many of the fighters seen in the video were killed during the battle and undoubtedly more have died since I left the frontlines.  The videos could very well be the last known recordings of fallen rebels.

It has been nearly two months since the battle and there should be no OPSEC issues in posting these videos.

Shame .

I feel as if what the Libyans did after they found Ghaddafi was so wrong and barbaric.

Now all of the people around the world would think that’s how MUSLIMS and ARABS act and that’s disgusting.

Shame on them shame. The man who ruled your country 42 years and protect your country does not deserve such humility.

You should have at least taken him to court not drag his body around the city, so disgusting.

Leave the punishment to GOD people, your not the creator let him deal with Ghaddafi for he knows everything his done in this world.

In my opinion, putting him jail and letting the court deal with him was a better manner.
