Posemaniacs not doin' it for you?
Here are a couple gesture drawing sites that have various photo reference types that you can even toggle! They’re more real than what you get from the muscly figures on posemaniacs, although still not as great for use as real-life studies.
Warning: There’s nudity, but that shouldn’t be a problem.

So guess what? I recently found some neat resources for improving your grasp on human an animal anatomy through gesture drawing.
Pictures of humans and animals are displayed for a short (or longer, depending on your mood) amount of time in order to be sketched and recreated for practice.
Here is the link for human gesture drawing. You can choose to do male models only, female models only, both genders, naked, clothed, or both.
Here is the link for animal gesture drawing. You can choose to see all animals, have it focus on mammals only, have images of everything but insects, or focus on felines, canines, equines, avians etc.
For animal and human drawing you can choose a standard session or class mode. Standard sessions stay focused on each image for a predetermined amount of time. You can choose 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, or 10 minutes time to draw each picture.
Class mode warms you up with quicker gesture drawings and then eases you into longer poses, with built in breaks.
