Tacheles Art Commune in Berlin (Mitte), Germany.
Tacheles is a art commune located on Oranienburgerstraße in the district of Mitte, Berlin. It was abandoned in the late-GDR era but “reclaimed” by an artists collective after reunification in the early 90s.
Recently, the city of Berlin has been trying to evict the artists who have been there for nearly two decades, since they have technically been occupying the building illegally. More information can be found here: Save Tacheles.
