Virgo: Week of April 28th
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)Your urge to travel, seek adventure and be stimulated by new experiences is strong! You want to get outta Dodge and you want more out of life. If you can sign up for a course, get further education, travel someplace different or at least meet people who are fascinating and stimulating, this will help you feel that you’re tapping into something bigger than yourself. (And this is what you want and need.) Naturally, this restlessness could be a prelude to a decision to change jobs or residences or both because frankly, these are likely events the next two years. (It’s always darkest before it gets pitch black.)
“By focusing on your accomplishments - no matter how small - you will start to diminish your anxiety that there is not enough time. Unless you disarm bombs for a living, this "time" thing is a big illusion. We each have twenty-four hours every day. The rich do not have more than twenty-four hours, and the poor do not have less. When you get down to it, all we ever have is the present moment. Everything else is a hope or a memory.”
—Georgia Nicols - You and Your FutureVirgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
“Either because of the challenge of others or your own mental mindset, you might decide to make sweeping changes in your life today. If these changes benefit others (or society) as well as yourself, then you will be successful. If not, everyone loses.”
‘the fuck!?
that’s some heavy shit g; how did you think the collective virgo would react to that? at this point i’ma say fuck it and crawl back into bed, then throw the blankets off and get up and do all this world-saving shit that apparently i’ve, we’ve been tasked with. I might have to channel a bit of sophia loren and otis redding to pull this off. bill murray, chill we gots this.
Pre Full Moon - Ala Georgia Nicols
Pray tell, what celestial tidbits are happening this week? There’s a Full Moon in Capricorn on Thursday and Friday. (Batten down the hatches.) As we approach that fun event (whoopee!), fair Venus will be having harsh words with stern Saturn. (Well, that’s no fun with the pre-Full Moon tensions already building up.) But lo! Behold fiery Mars sitting in Gemini until August 3rd. Mars is the planet that rules our sexual energy! Mars also rules our muscles, our blood and our aggression. (Grrrr.) When you think of Mars, think snazzy sports cars, sexy, eye-catching duds and deeds of derring-do. (Incidentally, because Mars is the ruler of Aries, Aries people know how to spell derring-do. Or is it because they’re so full of it?)
